How to Recognize Signs from the Other Side

https://omtimes.com/2019/03/recognize-signs-from-the-other-side/

Have your loved ones been sending you signs from the other side and you hadn’t realized it? Recognizing Signs from the Other Side by Bill Philipps      How beautiful it would be to be able to say to your deceased mother, “Mom, I really need to know you’re with me right now; will you please appear before me so that I can see you?” — and then watch as she appears. Unfortunately, that’s not how spirits operate. Any signs you receive from the other side likely will not be presented in the most obvious ways. But they won’t necessarily be as subtle as you may think. It depends primarily on your mindset and whether you are looking for them. If you surrender your expectations of how the signs may be presented and are vigilant about paying attention to your surroundings, you will recognize them. When you are on the lookout, your psychic senses will kick in, because that is where your energy is being directed. Spirits will also try to send their signs from the other side that you will relate to and avoid sending ones that you won’t. The reason, of course, is because they want you to recognize them. For example, if you are a construction worker or a sports fanatic, they may send signs that relate to either of those things. If you are not into sports and aren’t familiar with, say, basketball star LeBron James, your deceased mom will likely not send you something that has to do with LeBron. I am not into sports much at all, so when I give readings, it is rare for me to receive a detailed sports symbol as validation. Those on the other side know I’d get frustrated if I did. That doesn’t mean they won’t show me…

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine Signs $10 Million Record Deal From Prison

https://themindunleashed.com/2019/10/rapper-tekashi-6ix9ine-signs-10-million-record-deal-from-prison.html

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine

(TMU) — The controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine claims that he has signed a $10 million record deal while in prison awaiting sentencing on racketeering and firearms charges that he has already pled guilty to. The deal is reportedly with the rapper’s former label 10K, and demands two albums, one in English and another in Spanish, although the record company has declined to comment on the deal.

Tekashi 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, recently testified in court in a very public trial in order to get his sentence significantly reduced.

Hernandez was initially arrested back in November of 2018 and was facing a mandatory minimum sentence of 47 years, until agreeing to cooperate with federal prosecutors against his former fellow gang members in the Nine Trey Bloods. His testimony resulted in successful guilty verdicts in the cases of Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack.

Hernandez will finally be sentenced on December 18, and he is hoping to serve as little jail time as possible for his cooperation. However, the rapper has become a pop-culture joke since the details of his testimony went viral last month. He is also now a total pariah in the hip-hop industry, and it is unlikely that anyone would want to tour or collaborate with him after his testimony.

While on the stand, Hernandez dropped every name that he possibly could, even high profile artists who didn’t have anything to do with the case, including Cardi B and Jim Jones. After his testimony, Hernandez was expected to have no choice but to join witness protection, as snitching against the ‘Bloods’ is historically a death sentence. Hernandez does not seem to have any fear of assassination though, and wants to return to his career as soon as he gets out of jail.

Shortly after the testimony, legendary rapper T.I. predicted that Hernandez would have no problem returning to the streets, because it is now incredibly common for people to cooperate with the authorities when they get in trouble.

“It’s a bunch of rats walking ’round right now. And that’s the thing that really hurts. They riding ’round with somebody they know done told in they hood right now, because, ‘Well, he didn’t tell on me.’ This cat can come home and throw parties and the parties be popping. It be full. If muthaf**kas don’t fuck with rats, how the hell is this party so packed? And everybody know how cous’ came home. Everybody know what happened,” T.I said in an interview with Big Boy of Real 92.3.

How to make your boyfriend happy over text

In today’s digital age, we’re all glued to our phones. Once, I denied and argued with people, telling them this wasn’t true for me, but I give up. I’m addicted. I try to not use my phone as much, but it’s hard.

With that being said, since our phones are always close by, it’s become a major way to communicate with the people around us. The people closest to us—our friends, partners, and family members—you text them all. Though I usually argue that texting is destructive. Because, let’s face it, it is.

In some circumstances, texting can be a positive way to communicate with people. If you’re not always able to be near your partner when they have a bad day at work or are feeling a little down, you can still communicate with them!

Three Precious Lessons from Living Abroad

http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/positivelypositive/positive/~3/pY0pzNZ7NbU/

By passport and birth, I am Romanian. By soul, I am a citizen of the world. I’ve always been fascinated by cultures, traditions, mentalities, and different ways of doing things and perceiving the world. So when I got my first working contract in Sweden twelve years ago, I embraced it with tremendous joy.

Five years later I took one of the biggest steps in my life and moved to Shanghai. I was an Eastern-European woman leading a Chinese team, in an entirely new environment, so different from anything I had experienced before. After Shanghai, life brought me to South Korea and Mexico for other four exciting years. Today, I am sharing these insights from my current home in Dubai.

Looking back on my life, I know I used to expect others to behave in specific predefined ways, and I stereotyped people based on their country of origin. For example, I assumed that all Italians would speak a lot and loudly. All Swedish would be blond and shy. All Greeks would be cheese lovers, and all Chinese were supposed to eat dog meat.

The truth is, I was putting labels on people and seeing the world in black and white. As if I was the only one holding the absolute truth and the “right” way of perceiving the world, and anything else was either strange or abnormal.

Cognitive distortions like labeling or stereotyping separate us and shut us down. When I was meeting the world with a “my way or no way” approach, I was stuck on my ego. My mind was too busy judging, so it had no time to listen or understand other points of view, and everything outside my comfort zone scared me.

The real shift happened the day I decided to meet new people with the eyes of a child, with curiosity and a genuine interest to know them and connect with them, from the heart. I started to ask questions, like: “What makes you say this?” “What makes you do that?” or “I’m not sure I understand. Can you tell me more about that?”

New insights and new perspectives came to life that I’d like to share with you today:

1. Beauty is subjective.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I believe this is true. Knowing this helped me stop judging the Chinese, South Korean, or Japanese for hiding themselves under big umbrellas during summer.

As an Eastern-European woman, I was raised to believe “summer beauty” was all about getting a nice, sexy chocolate-like complexion. However, during my stay in Asia, I was always complimented on my “gorgeous white skin” because here beautiful often means “white.” So if you visit this part of the world, don’t get surprised to see lots of whitening products in beauty shops.

Each time you think you’re not beautiful enough, your nose is too long, or your hips are too big, remember that beauty is a norm, shaped by societies and cultures. Spend your precious time by finding your own kind of beauty. You are what you believe. Decide you are gorgeous and see what happens.

2. Feedback is just an opinion.

If you are concerned with what other people think about you, know this and set yourself free: if they find you intelligent, stupid, ugly, or average, that has nothing to do with you. It’s all about them and what they see in you after they evaluate you through their standards and expectations.

Take my example: a Swedish colleague once told me I was “scary”—“too emotional, too talkative, and too intense.” I wanted to know more about myself, so I asked colleagues from Romania what they thought about that feedback. They found it funny: “What? You, scary? You, intense? Who told you that? You must be kidding!”

To them, I was normal. Showing vulnerability and expressing emotions at work was not common in Sweden, but it was normal to me.

That’s where the differences came from. It wasn’t right or wrong; it was just different. Every time people tell you that you are “too little of this” or “too much of that,” know that it has nothing to do with you. It’s about how they’re reacting to you, so don’t take it personally.

3. We are all influenced by cultural values.

Every culture holds a set of primary values that influence the way we act and think. In Sweden, for example, I learned the word “lagom” (meaning “not too much”), which is an expression of humbleness.

In other words, one should not stick out and be too much out of anything, or believe they are “some kind of special.” On the opposite side, if you were raised in a country that puts a high focus on acknowledging and praising your individuality, acting and thinking “lagom” about yourself might be hard.

Countries such as China or South Korea value harmony: let us all agree and collaborate, so it’s a win-win for everybody, and no one has to lose. Kind of “me happy, you happy.” So don’t get surprised if people tell you they agree with you when, in fact, they don’t. It’s all about avoiding conflict and “keeping face,” for the sake of the collective harmony.

Knowing the cultural values in a given country is another way to understand why people behave differently. We all have our own historical, social background, but diversity doesn’t have to be scary. Imagine how boring life would be if everyone thought the same: no learning from each other, no brainstorming of new ideas, no evolution and growth.

It is essential that we embrace our differences with compassion and accept diversity as a reality of the world we all live in. Souls don’t hold a passport. In spirit, there’s no separation, no nationality or religion. Those have been assigned to each of us at birth.

Giving in to Stress

Kate says . . .

Every day we wake up and as a mom we are in a battle. A battle to see if stress is going to win, or we will! Some days, it is just one of those days, and before the kids even get out the door I’ve thrown in the towel. (If they could just hang up the towel maybe…) Other days I win, and I’m able to beat the stress away.

As Brad pointed out in his post, “Stress and the Men Who Hate It”, we have a choice in how we handle the stressful situations in our lives. We can take the stress and demands of the day and let them effect everything else in our lives and marriage or we can fight back. The truth is, we have the CHOICE!!

I am guilty of making the wrong choice at times where stress is concerned. Sometimes I just want to give into the frustration and anger. But then I look at my hubby and my kids and I see what that does to them. Nothing good, that is for sure! There are other times that I step back from my frustrations and take a minute to pull myself together. I whisper a prayer and push forward in a way that I know will not diminish the value of my hubby or kids. It is those times that I look into my family’s eyes and know that I have chosen well.

Giving into your frustrations.

Giving in your frustrations feels good at times. It feels justified for all that you have had to deal with. In the moment that is, but afterwards, it feels horrible. While we all have moments of needing to “vent” we need to discern where and when that is appropriate. As I know in my own life, indulging in frustrations usually fuels the flame higher. I want to put out the flame of stress before we all get burnt.

Step back, take a breath and whisper a prayer.

Feel stressed? Step back, taking a breath and whisper a prayer. That does not fix all that has gone wrong and it does not make all of the frustration go away. It does however, help me to treat everyone around me with the love and respect I actually feel. It teaches the discipline of not acting in the heat of the moment. In Proverbs 31: 26 the wife of noble character is described as  “When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness”. I would imagine that takes a great deal of prayer and self-discipline to not give into stress and give instructions with kindness. I greatly desire to be that wife of noble character in every way!

Which will you choose wives on your next stressful day or situation?

Will you choose to give in and give in to the frustration or will you choose to step back, take a breath and whisper a prayer.  The choice IS ours.

Mike Pompeo Vows to Intervene in British Democracy to Stop Jeremy Corbyn

https://themindunleashed.com/2019/06/mike-pompeo-stop-jeremy-corbyn.html

(CJ Op-Ed) — An audio recording from a private meeting that was leaked to The Washington Post reportedly features US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo vowing to “push back” against surging British Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, and many are concerned that what he said sounds an awful lot like a top US official promising to interfere in the UK’s democratic process.

At a closed-door meeting with Jewish leaders earlier this month, one of the attendees asked Pompeo if Corbyn becomes Prime Minister, “would you be willing to work with us to take on actions if life becomes very difficult for Jews in the UK?”

Before I get to Pompeo’s response, I should interrupt myself to note that nobody actually believes that Corbyn would make life difficult for Jews in the UK. Anyone who claims to believe this is lying. Usually when you hear people regurgitating bullshit establishment lines they’re people who are acting basically in good faith, who are only spouting bullshit because they have been propagandized. Not so in this case. The idea that a man with a lifelong history of opposing bigotry is a secret antisemite who will facilitate the persecution of Jews if given the opportunity is a completely baseless smear campaign, and everyone knows it, including those who advance it.

The notion that Jeremy Corbyn advances antisemitism is literally just some gibberish the smear merchants made up to prevent the rise of a politician who threatens to upset existing power structures. It’s exactly as believable and exactly as legitimate as if British newspapers were constantly running headlines claiming that Corbyn is actually three children standing on each other’s shoulders inside grown-up’s clothes; the one and only difference is that they were able to make the antisemitism smear stick. Anyone who pretends to believe that Corbyn is a closet antisemite is exactly as honest and credible as someone who solemnly tells you, “I am very concerned about the fact that the Labour Party is led by a man who is secretly a cartoon mascot for a children’s breakfast cereal.”

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

So anyway, Pompeo is asked by some ridiculous twat what he’s going to do in the event of a Corbyn-led Kristallnacht, and WaPo reports on his response as follows:

Pompeo said, “It could be that Mr. Corbyn manages to run the gauntlet and get elected. It’s possible. You should know, we won’t wait for him to do those things to begin to push back. We will do our level best,” he said to fervent applause from attendees.

“It’s too risky and too important and too hard once it’s already happened,” he said.

This revelation, understandably, has kicked up a fair bit of chatter in merry old England.

“President Trump and his officials’ attempts to decide who will be Britain’s next prime minister are an entirely unacceptable interference in the UK’s democracy,” The Guardian quotes a Labour spokesperson as saying in response to the revelation.

“STOP: The Secretary of State Mike Pompeo just promised ‘Jewish leaders’ in the United States that he would stop Jeremy Corbyn coming to power here,” tweeted former British MP George Galloway. “Is this normal now? Is this what we’ve been led to? Is this good for Jews? For Britain? Really?”

“They did it in Latin America, Africa and Asia. Now the US government wants to overthrow democracy in Britain,” tweeted The Guardian’s George Monbiot. “Still waiting for a UK government spokesperson to express their outrage. Hello???”

“Hmm. Hard to spin this any other way: the US secretary of state secretly promises US Jewish leaders to prevent Corbyn from becoming UK prime minister,” tweeted British journalist Jonathan Cook. “Hard too not to suspect that the US is *already* helping to ensure Corbyn doesn’t become PM. Because the obvious implication of Pompeo’s comment is that the US knows it can damage Corbyn without leaving fingerprints at the crime scene — presumably through black ops, image management etc. The elephant in the room: Why assume the US isn’t already using those techniques?”

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js

It is no secret that the DC establishment considers other nations to be its personal property and has no qualms about openly working to topple the governments of nations like Venezuela and Iran, but people aren’t accustomed to hearing this sort of language directed at white, English-speaking liberal democracies. Add in the fact that this is coming from a particularly reviled administration in terms of international optics and the likely public revulsion increases. The thought that this administration may decide the direction of UK politics would be all kinds of infuriating to the average pom.

So many questions need to be answered. Was Pompeo in fact saying that the US is intending to prevent Corbyn from becoming Prime Minister? And if so, how? What exactly does “push back” entail? Are we talking psyops and smear campaigns? Or something more? And whatever they intend to do, have they started doing it already?

These are all questions that we should be intensely curious about. If Corbyn is able to continue to rise, we may begin seeing some increasingly overt manipulations from many places we’re not meant to be seeing them as an ailing empire fights to hold itself together in the face of increasing public discontent. The more overt the guardians of the empire are forced to be, the more they expose themselves, and the greater that public discontent may become. Our rulers are in a very complex balancing act right now, and we’d all do well to pay attention.
