Have You Lived Before This Living?

Perhaps you have experienced deja vu? You understand, that experience you get after you get into a building you have not been through before still somehow possess the feeling you have? Or the emotion you will get after you meet an individual the very first time and really feel an immediate relationship, like you may…

Searching For Our Passion

I think the definition of success relies on the individual that is asked to specify it. For a few of us, this can be specified in locating our interest. As well as soon as that is attained, we currently really feel effective with whatever endeavors they have actually determined to take. Alas this is not…

Taking a chance With Interactions!

‘With any Romance arrives Risk! A Hindsight is a marvellous thing – especially on the subject of associations! Refreshing Sparkling Grapefruit Frosé that is all natural with zero refined sugar, your favorite bottle of rosé and makes the perfect summer cocktail!

Refreshing Sparkling Grapefruit Frosé that is all natural with zero refined sugar, your favorite bottle of rosé and makes the perfect summer cocktail!

Confession: Rosé is basically my staple summer drink.

I mean what’s not to love?!  It’s crisp, refreshing and sure looks pretty poured in your glass so of course I had to make this into slushy form!  Adult slushies are THE BEST and the addition of grapefruit makes everything that much better.  Grapefruit tastes delicious with rosé making this drink the perfect poolside companion this summer!

As most of you know, I recently gave birth to my sweet Emma Rose a few weeks ago so I’m slowly allowing myself to finally enjoy some wine here and there…..you know, after 9 months!  So this recipe comes at the perfect time and only tastes that much sweeter!

The great thing about this recipe is you can really use any type of fruit or juice you want!  If you’re not a fan of grapefruit, try adding some frozen strawberries to your blender.  Peaches would taste amazing too!  I promise….you can’t mess this up.

Hope you all enjoy this recipe as much as we did and with the 4th of July coming up this cocktail is definitely a must-have!  Please let me know if you enjoy seeing cocktail recipes on the blog.  I try to keep my posts as healthy as possible, but everyone loves a good cocktail now and then so if you’d like to see my favorites I’d be happy to share them!

Some good news for introverts

Today’s tip comes from The New Self-Help, Forge’s 21 essential self-improvement books for the 21st century.

📢 Today’s tip: Don’t confuse charisma with good ideas.

There’s a certain personality type we tend to associate with leadership: gregarious, extraverted, always ready and eager for an audience. But in her book Quiet, Susan Cain argues that we’ve got it all wrong: Often, the quietest voice in the room is one to listen to.

“Studies in group dynamics suggest we perceive talkative people to be more intelligent, better-looking, and more likable than their quieter counterparts,” she writes, “but research suggests that there’s no such link.” In fact, one management study found that the highest-performing companies tend to have CEOs who are humble, reserved, even shy.

And there’s a reason for their success. As Cain puts it: “We need leaders who build not their own egos, but the institutions they run. Not performers, but the people who get things done.”
