We all have a Mother.
However, we are not all Mothers.
Back when I was very heavy (I released 100 lbs. over 31 years ago), I remember the first time someone asked me how many months “along” I was and I had to explain, “I am not pregnant”.
I was crushed.
This happened to me repeatedly.
The truth? Inside I called myself “a big fat pig” and felt humiliated beyond words about myself and my body.
Some of our mothers’ may have detested their bodies while we were in their womb.
Studies indicate that we are deeply impacted by our pre-birth experiences and I strongly believe we hold onto those throughout our lives.
The good news is YOU CAN heal from this programming at any age, weight or decade of your life. I did.
So, if you feel badly about how you look and make excuses for not making necessary changes…this is the example you are setting for yourself and others.
You can take action right this moment.
It is possible for you to feel:
- completely at home in your body and let go of that Mom programming (she was doing the best she could with her programming)
- love for yourself in every way possible
It starts with small, simple steps.
In honor of my JULY (6th) birthday right around the corner, I am offering an opportunity for more of you to take action steps to welcome the love that you are.
If you are ready to raise your energy and undo more of your blocks to self-acceptance, self-care and self-love, please consider joining us.
And please use the comment section below to share one way you express self-love to yourself on a regular basis.
The world needs more love so your comment will inspire someone else.
